| Vice-presidents |
 | Paul Courtenay - Vice-president | | I first saw, and fell in love with, Lancia Montecarlo’s at the LMC track day at Castle Coomb back in 1986. At the time I was driving my fist, of four, X1/9s on a ticket from the SAAB Owners Club – another long story of car company cooperation. Although I managed to spin my X’y in front of the small crowd, I did get to have a close look at these beautiful cars, but was quickly scared off by the owners’ tails of unavailable parts and panels, a full four years since the last cars were sold. One was red one was powder blue I remember still. In 1997 the idea of Monte ownership was re-kindled by an ‘Classic Cars’ article explaining about the Monte Hospital and the now much improved spares situation, so off I went and bought the first car I saw; something I would not recommend to anyone. We’ve been together for over ten years now, six of those on the road and the others ‘resting’ as they say in the acting trade, although its renaissance is in sight if not imminent. I am not a single-make fanatic, also owning a very clean 1982 Fiat X1/9 and also a 1966 Saab 96 with 3-cylinder 2-stroke engine. How’s that for variety? I like both driving and maintenance/repairs, and definitely have a hobby in collecting spare parts and tools (don’t we all?). My relationship with the consortium has also been for over ten years and I can honestly say it is the best and most personal club I have ever been associated with. How many car clubs have 10-15% of membership regularly attending even overseas events? In my other life I work for a Norwegian seismic contractor (that’s oil, not earthquakes) which makes life complicated as I share my time between Norway (work), Germany (family) and UK (MOT’s and Consortium events). | | Email: | Tel No: 00 49 482 187 212 |

 | Chad Eyton-Williams - Vice-president | | I saw my first Monte in the 'flesh' in about 79 and being a designer was totally struck with the shape. However I did not dare to touch!! Eventually the longing became too great and in 1989 I bought the first I saw advertised at a vastly over inflated price (for the time). It looked OK to me, no very obvious rust showing and the engine went well but after a mere 60 miles and a slight loss of control on a corner that did not warrant it I discovered firstly that the dampers were totally shot and on further inspection the awful truth dawned. Total rust bucket with a lot of filler and a neat skin of paint. Being too mean, having spent that much, I could not throw it away so I started a 5½ year total restoration which involved making panels and plastic parts as few parts were obtainable and those that were were pricy and not too good. I talked to others similarly blighted by ownership at LMC events and decided to try to sell repeats of the things I made for my own car to finance its restoration. The Monte Hospital was borne and the rest is history!! If you have a Monte then you know the rest and although I sold The Monte Hospital retail business of buying and selling parts I have continued with their manufacture which is something and I enjoy and it keeps me out of mischief (what mischief I do not know, but it does!) I still love it after all this time and only have to take a short drive to rekindle my enthusiasm. When a Consortium was discussed back in '92????? Rod, Flavio and I got together to start it all off. It was something I have never done before as I am not a club person but I have to say I have enjoyed every minute and made lots of friends and would not have missed being involved for anything. | | Email: chad@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 01989 720475 |

| Committee |
 | David Griffiths - Chairman | | Having owned Lancias since 1984, I first saw a Montecarlo on the way to a job interview. It was love at first sight and it's been downhill ever since! My first Monte was a fully restored car which I intended to sell when I bought my second one. I never did find the courage to sell it and it's been the same story five times now! I'm not the usual chairman-type, but then the committee isn't the normal type of committee! We have a superbly supported club with the members all the very best of friends. If you own, want to own, or just like Montecarlos, then come and join us; you'll make great friends and will probably enjoy the odd beer or two with us? | | Email: chairman@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 07788 584948 |

 | Rod Shipley - Secretary | | Acknowledged as one of the true anoraks of the Montecarlo world, I have been actively involved with our cars since the early 1980s. Currently the owner of two Montecarlos (one first-series coupé in red and a second-series coupé in black) I've owned more than ten different Montecarlos since 1991 and have yet to finish the first restoration I’ve started! Club secretary, registrar and magazine editor since the club’s reformation in 1996 I now feel well past retirement time, but somehow the spark gets rekindled each year, usually just before the club’s AGM! Always ready to give advice, my day job, together with wife Linda, is running the Monte Hospital, thus making Montecarlos and Scorpions a 24/7 occupation. | | Email: secretary@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 01722 714385 |

 | Linda Shipley - Treasurer | | I acquired my first Montecarlo in 1981 and have progressed through a selection of others, currently owning a black second-series spider with under 40,000 miles on the clock. I’ve also had the pleasure of a Lancia Beta HPE, Lancia Beta Spider, first-series Montecarlo coupé in red and a second-series in white. I am controller of the club’s purse strings and the only committee member to have served continuously since 1996. My accounting background means the consortium’s finances have always been in good shape, though I have been known to allocate a budget of £0.00 to some projects! I am always heavily involved in event organisation, and my current commitment is this year’s trip to France for the Le Mans Classic. | | Email: treasurer@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 01722 714385 |

 | Darren Cooksey - Membership Secretary | | That strange looking chap is our membership secretary, who you can see is well adapted to smiling, as well as talking, eating and drinking! Darren has been a Monte owner for over 12 years, and may one day actually get his car on the road. He is usually to be found in discussion with anyone who’ll listen and happy to talk about any aspect of car restoration, repair, improvement, or any other subject that crops up! He joined the committee in 2007 and took on the Membership Secretary mantle at the same time. | | Email: membership@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 01635 860808 |

 | Dave Wilson - Competition Secretary | | I love my Monte. It’s not the cleanest, fastest, tidiest etc but I can still get loads of pleasure from it, and the Montecarlo is such a beautiful, practical, fun car to own. I love the Montecarlo Consortium. I think they are the best bunch of people who were ever in a car club, and I just so enjoy their company and all the events we organise, and you could too !!! So come along to an event and find out what a great bunch of people we really are !!! | | Email: events@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 01229 834603 |

| Regalia |
 | Jez Pigden - Regalia | | I first came across my Monte in 1984 when it was bought by a good friend. The car ended up beached in his garden for several years until I persuaded him to sell me the car in 1996. Two years later following an expensive and somewhat traumatic rebuild to near concours condition she arrived at her first consortium event (Auto Italia) at Brooklands. Fast forward to 2005, and a second and more expensive and equally traumatic rebuild began; now almost complete she is now supercharged, with a full roll cage and various other racing pretensions. The beauty of the consortium for me is that you are welcomed whatever your Monte is like; concours winner or modified track car, it's not a purely car polishers club nor is it full of boy racers with spoilers and fat exhausts. And they do a nice line in T-shirts. | | Email: regalia@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 02392 591435 |

| Technical Advisors |
 | Wallace Brown - Technical Advisor | | This is probably the best photo of my Monte – before I decided to pull it to bits – again ! It started off about 18 years ago as a rusty Series 2 in a nice shade of gold which required the usual patching, welding and re-spraying to turn it into something that looked the part. The next trick was to modify the existing engine by bolting on a turbocharger - a lot of work but certainly worth it with the extra power. Not quite enough though – which is why it disappeared back into the garage for another rebuild. Unfortunately this has taken a lot, lot longer than I’d thought – and it isn’t quite ready yet. But it will be - there’s something about a Montecarlo that you simply don’t get with any other car! | | Email: wallace.brown@bbc.co.uk | Tel No: 01780 754429 |

| Press and Publicity Information |
 | Chris Clarke - Press and Publicity Officer | | OK, so it's Park-and-Ride-Bus Green, but then an Avocado is an acquired taste! I have had my 2nd Monte since 2003 and love all the attention it gets whenever I drive it. Our Club is great! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I have made friends (and drinking buddies) that I will treasure for a lifetime. Go on, why not buy one and be a part of it all; they are such fun and still under-valued, considering the rewards they bring. | | Email: chris@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 01242 676991 |

 | Paul Millett - Press and Publicity Officer | | I have been "into" Monte's for about 20 years or so, making a purchase in 1991. It's a car most people know about - "the one with the V6". Ali is my long suffering partner (where Monte's are concerned!) and I have a 10 year old son, Josh, who is coming around to Monte's and has the saying "oh dad's not in the garage again". I bet it will change when HE starts driving! I have a passion for football, old watches (mechanical), model cars - Monte's in particular (surprise surprise!), curries and good old nights out with family and friends. Well that's me in a nutshell. Hope to see you soon. | | Email: paul@montecarlo.org.uk | Tel No: 01908 612741 |
